Skin Treatments
Refined Skin Care, Built for Sarasota Skin
Your skin shows what your sun history, your hormones, your sleep, and the last decade of your schedule have been doing. The treatments on this page are how we work with all of that, in coordination, with honesty.
We don't believe in the one-size template. We believe in choosing the right tool for your skin, in the season you're in. Some clients need a series of medical-grade peels. Some need microneedling. Some need a deeper resurfacing course with the Nuviderm laser. Many combine modalities over a year. The right answer comes out of a real consultation.
rejuvenate your skin
Chemical peels are a safe and effective treatment option to dramatically improve the appearance and health of your skin. This medium depth medical grade peel eliminates dull, dead skin cells, improves pigmentation imperfections, addresses concerns of acne, and in Sarasota, Florida, it is a safe alternative to laser and energy based treatments if you have bronzed or tanned skin.
Chemical Peels
Benefits of Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a highly effective way to refresh and renew the skin, revealing a smoother, brighter, more even complexion. By exfoliating the top layers of dead or damaged skin, peels help accelerate cell turnover and stimulate healthy skin regeneration.

Collagen stimulating treatments are available in many forms, whether injectables, laser and light devices, or biologic topicals. Microneedling is an extremely effective option and offers benefits such as eliminating downtime, discomfort and risk of bruising, not to mention your pocket book being a fan! Treat your face, neck, hair, scalp to a series of microneedling on it’s own, or in combination with growth serums for added benefit. Our practice utilizes the device, Collagen Pin, the most powerful and precise device in the market today.
MicroNeedling
Benefits of Microneedling
Benefits of microneedling include stimulation of healthy natural collagen to address signs of aging such as fine lines and uneven texture, increased circulation for healthy scalp and hair growth, and is powerful enough to improve acne and surgical scarring, as well as stretch marks.
Microneedling is most commonly offered in a series of 3 treatment sessions.
Microneedling with EXOE exosomes
This combination treatment is most often recommended to our patients. Much like DeRive, EXOE exosomes are 100% natural, plant based, and consistently effective in stimulating healthy collagen and circulation.
Reveal Your Best Skin
For skin concerns that go deeper than what peels and microneedling can address, the Nouvaderm laser offers genuine resurfacing in a way that respects your downtime and your skin type.It addresses fine lines, sun damage, melasma, acne scars, and pigmentation in a way that topicals and gentler devices cannot reach.
The device includes seven preset clinical modes, including NOUVAGlo for skin revitalization and Hair Support Mode for scalp and hair density. Most clients see results in 1 to 4 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, with recovery measured in days.
Nouvaderm Laser Treatment
How it works
NOUVADerm works by delivering precise energy into the skin using a fractional laser that creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin's surface. These microthermal zones stimulate your skin's natural healing process, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin-the building blocks of firm, youthful skin. This process helps to improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity while reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation
Results you can Expect
Significant sun damage and age spots
Melasma (with appropriate skin-type calibration)
Acne scarring and texture irregularity
Deeper fine lines and uneven tone
Scalp density and hair support (Hair Support Mode)

During your NOUVADerm treatment, you may feel a mild warming sensation as the laser works its magic. For more aggressive treatments, a numbing cream may be applied to ensure comfort. Depending on your skin's condition and the level of treatment, a session can last between 30 and 60 minutes.
After treatment, you may experience some redness or mild swelling, similar to a sunburn, but these effects typically subside within a few hours to days. More intensive treatments may result in peeling or flaking as your skin heals and renews itself. Our specialists will provide you with specific posttreatment care instructions to ensure optimal healing and results.
-
While some patients see results after just one treatment, most will benefit from a series of 1 to 4 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on your skin condition and the goals you want to achieve. Our team will work with you to create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle and needs.

NOUVADerm is safe for all skin types and tones, making it an inclusive option for anyone looking to improve their skin. In addition to treating facial and body skin concerns, NOUVADerm features a unique Hair Support Mode. This specialized mode helps revitalize the scalp, stimulate blood circulation, and support hair growth. When paired with DERIVE serum, this treatment can enhance scalp health and hair vitality, making it a great option for those looking to improve their hair and scalp condition.

Recovery from a NuovaDerm session is measured in days, not weeks. Expect 24 to 48 hours of mild redness and sensitivity, sometimes light swelling the morning after. By days three or four, you'll see some flaking as the skin sheds. By day five or six, most visible healing is complete, though your skin will continue remodeling collagen for several weeks. We recommend gentle cleansing, a nourishing moisturizer, and SPF 30 or higher throughout.
Most clients come in already noticing one or two things. The grid below maps the concerns we hear most often to the treatment we typically recommend, with a short note on why. This is a starting point, not a final plan. Many clients combine modalities over a year, and the consult is where we figure out the right sequence for your skin.

Frequently asked Questions
-
The honest answer is that it depends on what your skin is showing. For early fine lines and texture, microneedling with EXOE exosomes is the most efficient starting point and often the most cost-effective. For deeper lines paired with sun damage or pigmentation, the Nuviderm laser does work that microneedling cannot. We'll match the treatment to your skin during your consult.
-
Both stimulate collagen, but they work differently. Microneedling uses a precision device with fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering your body's natural healing response. Laser resurfacing uses fractional energy (in our case, the 1927nm thulium NouvaDerm) to resurface the skin at depth. Microneedling is gentler with shorter sessions and less downtime. The NouvaDerm reaches deeper and is more effective for significant sun damage, melasma, and pitted scarring. Many clients use both over the course of a year.
-
For most clients with melasma, the NuovaDerm 1927nm thulium laser is the most effective single tool. Melasma is stubborn and tends to recur with sun exposure, so we usually pair the NuovaDerm course with maintenance peels and a careful daily SPF routine. Skin-type calibration matters, which is why we recommend an in-person consult before any treatment plan for melasma.
-
For most peels and microneedling sessions, arrive with clean skin and avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, and aggressive at-home treatments for several days beforehand. Avoid Accutane within the past 6 months for any resurfacing treatment. For the NuovaDerm, additional prep applies and we'll walk you through it during your consult. Eat something within two hours of your appointment, and skip alcohol and aspirin for 24 hours before.
-
A convenient, pill-based option that supports hormone balance through daily dosing. Oral therapy is often recommended for individuals seeking a simple, familiar way to restore hormone levels.Start with a consultation. We'll look at your skin, listen to what you've been noticing, ask about your sun history, your hormones, your skin care routine, and your timeline. From there, we recommend what would actually serve you, with options ranked by what we think will give you the best outcome. You'll leave with a plan, not a pitch.
-
It depends on the modality and your goals. Microneedling is typically a series of three sessions, then maintenance every six months. Chemical peels can be done monthly to quarterly, depending on the formulation. The NuovaDerm course is one to four sessions four weeks apart, with optional annual maintenance. Most long-term clients build a yearly rhythm that combines all three.
